Booking Terms & Conditions – Blueys Motel, Bella Villa Motel & Pacific Motel
1. General Booking Terms
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- While we do our best to accommodate requests for specific room numbers or layouts, this cannot be guaranteed.
- Guests must be 18 years of age or older, or accompanied by a responsible adult.
- A valid credit card and contact details are required at the time of booking.
- By confirming a reservation, guests agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
2. Payment Policy
- Payment may be required at the time of booking, and full payment is required to have been received prior to check-in, depending on the rate selected.
- All charges must be settled prior to departure unless otherwise arranged.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable, and the full booking amount may be charged.
- No-shows or early departures are treated as a cancellation within 14 days.
4. Pet & Service Animal Policy
- Service animals are always welcome at all three motels. Please note that staff will request the dog’s paperwork and proof of training/certification.
- Blueys Motel and Bella Villa Motel accepts pet-friendly bookings at management discretion only.
- Guests must contact Blueys Motel or Bella Villa directly prior to booking to confirm eligibility, availability, and any additional requirements or fees.
- Please note there is an additional fee of $60 charged for cleaning services with all pet bookings.
- Pets are not permitted at the Pacific Motel.
5. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are responsible for the behaviour of all occupants and visitors.
- Excessive noise, disturbance, or behaviour deemed unsafe or inappropriate by management may result in eviction without refund.
- Damage, breakages or additional cleaning required will be charged to the guest’s account.
6. Risk Warning
Motel management wishes to warn all persons who engage in any activity for recreation, enjoyment, leisure or relaxation on or near the motel grounds, that these activities involve inherent risks of harm or serious personal injury, including but not limited to:
- drowning, head, eye or spinal injury
- paralysis, broken limbs or strains
- slips, trips, falls or collisions
- interaction with wildlife
- uneven or wet surfaces
- exposure to natural elements
- exercise, sports or children’s activities
- operation of vehicles, plant or equipment
Prior to undertaking any activity, all occupants, guests or visitors should ensure they are aware of all risks involved, including risks associated with pre-existing health conditions. All persons participate at their own risk.
Children and infants must be supervised by an adult at all times.
By entering the motel grounds, it is accepted that all activities—including recreational activities—are not free from risk, and that management is not liable for any injury, loss, damage or theft of property.
Guests agree to indemnify motel management, owners, employees and agents against all claims arising from such activities.
7. Swimming Pools & Water Activity Conditions
Use of swimming pools and associated facilities carries inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Guests acknowledge and accept the following rules:
- No diving, flips, somersaults or inverted manoeuvres.
- No running on wet surfaces.
- No unsafe behaviour, pushing, rough play or misuse of equipment.
- Adequate adult supervision of children is mandatory at all times.
- Guests must comply with all posted pool rules and instructions given by staff.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the pool area or eviction from the property. - Pets are not permitted within the pool area.
8. Parking & Vehicles
- Parking is available for registered guests only.
- Guests park at their own risk. Management accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to vehicles or property within.
9. Personal Property
- Management is not responsible for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings.
- Guests are encouraged to secure valuables and lock doors and vehicles.
10. Privacy Policy
- Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for reservation, communication and operational purposes and will not be shared without consent unless required by law.
11. Amendments to Terms
- Management reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time.
- The version applicable is the one in effect at the time of booking.
